Turns 8 and 8A are the famous Corkscrew at Laguna Seca: 8 is a mostly flat left-hander that feeds directly into 8A, a steep downhill right-hander. From the entrance of 8 to the exit of 8A, the track runs 450 linear feet. In that length, the Corkscrew drops 59 feet.
